TIG has established a unique way of helping Training Managers and HR professionals solve real problems and get high quality advice through the use of modern communication systems and technology.

The main elements of the service are:
The Communication System. Members provide each other with practical solutions to real problems on a daily basis by communicating either directly with each other using a unique consolidated email, fax and telephone system. Members also meet at occasional meetings through the year. The meetings are different topics and are facilitated by experts.
TIG Focus Groups. These are formed from TIG Members who wish to focus on particular topics. The objective is to share ideas and experiences and learn from one another as well as find pragmatic solutions to issues with which they are faced. Two focus groups that are currently running are High Potential and Training Evaluation.
Learning Resources. The PALS system holds extensive information on training courses and training resources. These are cross-referenced to members' recommendations where appropriate. We also include a range of How To Notes, Articles, Training Aids, Theories and Models, Inventories and Questionnaires, Checklists for your use.
PALS Electronic Directory. The electronic directory pulls all the intelligence together into a simple but extensive information system. This means that, for example, all the items of information are split into their appropriate subject areas and can therefore be easily retrieved when needed. One can look up the subject matter or text of your choice and get a range of information and knowledge. If you see a particular recommendation by a member then you can give that member a call for a more in-depth discussion. The PALS system is available on both the PC desktop and the Internet.
The objective is that a member can go into PALS to get the answer to their question. The ‘answer’ can come from a number of sources depending on the nature of the question. The sources, for example, may be an article which has been written for TIG on a particular topic, perhaps someone has already asked a similar question and got an answer, perhaps TIG need to do some additional research.
If a member cannot get the answer they are looking for then they send the question out into the communication network. Responses are generally received within 24 to 48 hours.

We are an independent management consultancy specialising in the training and development of middle and senior managers in a wide variety of competencies from behavioural skills to finance and business acumen. We work with international companies both in the UK and overseas to develop the skills of their senior and middle managers.
Our tutors are skilled in facilitating discussions to ensure that participants continually relate to how things happen in practice in the organisation. Class sizes are small, typically 12-18 per programme (4-6 per syndicate), enabling help to be given with specific delegate issues.
