School and University Use Although our design focus is on short, focused business simulations for company training, we supply simulations for use at schools and universities.

Because we believe that today's students represent the future and supporting and encouraging careers in the wealth generation part of industry (business, manufacturing, marketing and engineering), we are happy to supply several of our simulations at less than a third of the usual fee.

Suitable Business Simulations

Two of our series of business simulations are especially suitable for and have been used by universities and schools - these are the Concepts Series and the Challenge Series. The Concepts Series are short and focus on specific business topics. The Challenge Series involve the students running a complete business and appreciating business and developing their business, financial and commercial acumen. As both involve the students working in several teams of four of five they help develop team working skills. For the Concepts Series each team runs the simulation on their own computer and it is desirable if they have access to a printer. For the Challenge Series, between two and eight teams compete in the same marketplaces with the teacher entering decisions into a single microcomputer (with printer) and returning printed results to the teams.

Special Prices

Unlike our normal commercial rental, where business simulations are only rented on a singe course, for schools (K-12 education) and universities we supply on a single course or an annual, unlimited use basis. For your convenience we quote prices in Pounds Sterling (£), US Dollars ($) and Euros (€).

Free Simulations for Schools

We are happy to supply Executive Challenge and Product Launch at no cost for use by schools (K-12 education). However, if you use a simulation in this way please let us know how it benefited your students so we can spread the word. And, if possible mention the activity on your school's website (with a link to www.simulations.co.uk).

Terms

For the special academic price to apply use is restricted to university courses that lead to a qualification and use by schools. Use by universities on their Continuing Professional Development courses with corporate clients is expressly prohibited.

Although we only invoice after you are happy with the simulation, we ask for a Purchase Order before supplying the release code. This is because on Professor presented himself as representing his university and made use of the simulation - afterwards neither he or his university paid! .

Acquisition and Support

Evaluation versions of the simulations can be downloaded from this website (the process is described on http://www.simulations.co.uk/fullaccess.htm ). When you wish to use the simulation. provide me by email dates of use, type of licence and Purchase Order. I will then email a code that releases the full version. This code must be entered within three days of the start date. So, if you have an annual licence and reinstall you will need another code.

Because of the discounted price, my support must be limited but I will help if I can.
