These are provided so that you can explore a simulation in greater depth and as required. These downloads do not represent the full documentation package provided with a simulation. All simulations will include a section comprehensively explaining how to tutor the simulation and, except for the simplest simulations, there will be detailed descriptions of all reports produced, a set of supplementary tasks (that provide other learning opportunities), definitions of terms, learning diary and worksheets.

All documentation is in Microsoft Word format. Not all participants' documentation is available, since, currently some of our documentation is in our original DTP format (dating back to 1982!). However, eventually, except for some very obscure topics, all will be available in MS Word format for downloading.

1. Participants' Documentation

This comprises documentation for the Participants. For simpler simulations this will consist of a single, short brief. For slightly more complex simulations, it consists of the brief and worksheets. For the most complex simulations, it consists of the brief and other support documentation. The briefs use British accounting terms. However, the simulations are available using other accounting (eg USA) conventions. These Participants' Briefs are the standard ones that we use with experienced business people. So, except where necessary, they do not include definitions of terms or advice on running a business. Where the simulation is suitable for use with junior staff, management trainees, undergraduates or even school children, more detailed briefs can be made available.

2. Using the Simulator

This provides information about using the simulator (simulation software). This information is common to each simulation series.

3. Downloading the Simulator

Clicking this button will transfer you to a page providing additional information about downloading an evaluation version of the simulator. The simulator you down load is a full version except that you will only be able to simulate a restricted number of periods (typically 3 rather than the 6 to 8 required to deliver learning).

Note: If no download is available, then the sinulatio is NOT available foryouto run. It is onlyprovidedon a fully tutored basis.

4. Durations

This shows typical times. The notes (a & b) are as follows:
a) This simulation can be run in an abbreviated manner (typically at a conference, on an assessment centre or with senior management).
b) This simulation can be enhanced with additional, optional activities.

Downloads Available

All documentation files are provided in Microsoft Word format (in A4 page size and 11 point text). All documentation is copyright Jeremy J. S. B. Hall and Hall Marketing. (If N/A is shown in the cell then the download is not currently available.)

Registration

Although the simulations that you have down loaded are restricted they can be upgraded to the full version through us supplying a release code. The code we supply will allow you to use the simulation as follows:

1. Single Course Rental

This allows you to use the simulation for an agreed period (normally two weeks - one week for you to gain familiarity and the second for you to use the simulation on courses).

2. Academic Licence

This allows you to use the simulation only on academic courses. It is provided with the databases for the Student and Academic Versions of the simulation.
